A few of the girls from work and I recently spent a night sleeping in our cars to recognise and support women over 55 experiencing homelessness. For us, it was a choice. We knew we would wake up the next morning and return to our normal lives. For many women, however, it isn’t a choice — it’s simply something they have to accept.
