I've started as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth, Energy & Environment at the University of Calgary, and I'm recruiting graduate students for my Tectonic Sedimentology Group. My group uses sedimentary basins as archives of mountain building, exploring how shortening, crustal thickness, and surface elevation evolve together over the life of an Cordilleran orogen.
