My mom has sarees she hasn’t worn in years. I went home recently and was helping her clean the cupboard. There were so many sarees just sitting there, some of them untouched for years. I asked her, “Mumma, when are you actually going to wear these?” “Will wear them. Keep them.” And honestly, she probably wouldn’t buy most of them again today. But giving them away?
