The cockroach milk studies and high resolution structures were incredible examples of creative research, and told us something new about solutions nature can find - in this case making a complex protein loaded with sugars and lipids to form a superfood. So chuffed that Ramaswamy Subramanian is awarded that best prize of all - the IgNobel in Chemistry! This study was always a strong candidate.
