Networking was alien to me for a long time. Tiring, even. That sounds odd because the Armed Forces give you an extraordinary network. Coursemates, regimental ties, instructors, staff tenures, people you have served with, people you meet again years later in another appointment. Relationships accumulate almost without you noticing.
