You know you are in trouble when your 6 year old no longer takes what you say at face value and now insists that any agreement is formalised, so as to avoid any future misunderstandings (or, more accurately, me reneging on/conveniently forgetting the previous agreement). I wish I could take credit for the writing style, but that would be a fib!
