Visual and Physiological Optics meeting in Cartagena this week! This is the group photo. If I count my former PhD students, postdocs, and the students they have trained, a surprisingly large part of this courtyard is that tree. I am proud of them running their own labs and training the next group. Seeing them in the same picture is one of the quiet rewards of an academic life. Grateful for the science. More grateful for the people.
