It’s been a few months since I announced that Mirrabooka Pork was closing down. Apart from 6 weaners to go, our last pig, a young boar, is getting loaded out tomorrow. A variety of mixed emotions, but overall it’s been a relief. I can’t say there hasn’t been a tear or two, though. William and Kate are our boar and sow for us to keep for ourselves. Kate is heavily pregnant and William has a great temperament for a boar, so we look forward to their journey with us. I really could write a book about this wonderfully …
